NISER Evaluation Manager
Sondra LoRe is the manager of the National Institute for STEM Evaluation & Research (NISER) at the University of Tennessee. She also serves as an adjunct professor. Before coming to UTK, she spent nearly twenty years in PreK-12 education as a classroom teacher, curriculum coordinator, and school principal. She is a mixed-methods researcher, but qualitative data brings her extra joy. She is on a mission to improve the way qualitative data is visualized and communicated in evaluation. Sondra maintains her TN State Educator and Administrator evaluation certification. She keeps current with educational research and assessment in PreK-24 education with a particular interest in Community College STEM education programs.
LoRe has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University, and a Ph.D. in the Evaluation, Statistics, and Measurement Program in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
