Nicole Jones is an Evaluation Specialist for the National Institute for STEM Evaluation and Research (NISER). She first joined the University of Tennessee system in 2014 as the Complete College Advisor at the Chattanooga campus and has been at the Knoxville campus since 2016.
Jones has 13 years of higher education experience in academic advising and student success and five years of experience in data collection and analysis at the federal level. She worked as the Transition Advising Coordinator in the Division of Student Success before joining NISER in February 2021.
Jones has a B.S. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in College Student Affairs Administration, both from the University of Georgia, and she is currently a doctoral student in the Evaluation, Statistics, and Measurement Program in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her research interests include environmental education, literacy, and policy.
